Sengled Everbright is an emergency light bulb that activates upon interruption of utility power. The rechargeable LED bulb is designed to provide a minimum of 3.5 hours of emergency lighting to commercial, residential or industrial LED fixtures. The all-in-one solution in a GLS bulb form factor eliminates typical wiring and installation inconveniences usually associated with bulky emergency lighting products that use externally connected battery packs. Everbright includes a 6W LED module which produces 550 lumens of perfectly diffused light via high quality diffuser in a 125° beam pattern. A minimum CRI of 80 ensures good color definition and a warm white 3000K CCT replicate the feel of an incandescent lamp. The LED module is operated by a constant current LED driver that hat accommodates input voltages from 220 to 240 or optionally 100 to 120 volts AC at 50/60Hz. Everbright has a built-in 7.4V, 900 milliamp-hour rechargeable lithium-ion battery which features excellent thermal stability, good tolerance to abuse, high current rating and thousands of cycle life. The bulb also incorporates a switching circuitry which is designed to detect an absence of AC power and automatically switch into emergency operation.
The rechargeable battery is installed between the LED driver and bulb base. It works with the LED driver to deliver an LED load for both normal and emergency operation. In the event of a power outage, the emergency mode will be triggered and the electronic circuitry to convert energy stored in the lithium-ion battery into the DC current necessary to drive the LED load. The LED module will be operated at a reduced light output of 330 lumens. When the AC power is restored and the light remains switched on, the battery automatically returns to the charging mode and full battery recharge is accomplished within 6 hours.
