Sengled Smartsense is a motion activated light bulb that adds an extra layer of protection, safety and peace of mind to your home or business environment in minutes. The A19 LED bulb with a standard Edison screw base is manufactured from the latest LED technology and high quality components to ensure optimized motion sensitivity, superior light output, exceptional light quality and excellent energy savings. Designed to deliver everyday value and consistent, warm and comfortable light, Smartsense produces 800 lumens of warm white 2700K light uniformly distributed through an opal diffuser, offering an ideal replacement for all standard 60W incandescent A19 bulbs. Its 200° beam spread provides a wide yet well-defined pattern of light along walls, passageways and corridors or above doors and entrances to ensure proper level of illumination.
The motion security light bulb uses passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect motion in a room. The bulb has a built-in motion detection circuit interpreting and responding to signals from an integrated pyroelectric device which measures changes in the infrared levels emitted by surrounding objects. The PIR sensor detects a change in the amount of infrared radiation up to 30 feet away and across a radius of 100 degrees and converts this change into a voltage. This voltage is compared to a threshold limit to trigger a signal that activates the Smartsense bulb. The bulb will stay lit for 90 seconds and turn off automatically afterwards if no further movement is detected. In idle status the light will enter standby mode. The light is switched off while movements are still being detected, using only 0.2W of energy.
Smartsense provides a cost effective, low maintenance, long lasting, and energy efficient solution that helps you transform your indoor pendant, recessed, surface and wall mounted fixtures into motion-activated lights without the fuss of re-wiring and modification. The advanced, patented design of the bulb ensures reliable performance you've come to expect from LED lighting. Thermal load is dissipated through an integrated heat sink and thermally conductive housing, maintaining the thermal equilibrium required to keep the LEDs operating below maximum rated junction temperature and reduce thermal impact to other functional components. The 8W LED bulbs is operated by a constant current driver with built-in power factor correction (up to 0.9) for maximum efficiency.
