Sengled Twilight LED bulbs offer an additional period of safety illumination upon switching off the light. Similar to the follow-me-home feature in automotive lighting, Twilight will stay lit for another 15 seconds to help you navigate hard-to-see spaces in your house. This companion light gives you a time to get across the room before the light goes out, without worrying about bumping into furniture or tripping or running back and forth to turn off the light. Simply screw Twilight into the sockets of your table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, ceiling lights or pendant fixtures, its transitional lighting will give you the calmness of walking between bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms and kids' rooms without the abrupt darkness of switching off a standard bulb.
Twilight operates like a standard light bulb and does not require any additional app or hub. The bulb has a built-in energy storage capacitor that drives the LED module under a reduced load during the time period when no line voltage power is available. The bulb takes another 30 seconds to get the energy storage capacitor fully recharged, which means you must turn on the light for at least 30 seconds before using its delayed turn-off feature. Although the light is dimmed down to reduced lumen output (50% brightness) during the transition illumination period, the bulb by itself is not dimmable. At its full output the 8.5W Sengled Twilight LED bulb produces 800 lumens of soft white light that provides an intimate ambiance during general use.
