The LED bulb takes advantage of chip-on-board (COB) technology to provide high lumen density for exceptional beam control. The spotlight bulb produces 420 lumens of light from a 6 watt input, which translates to a 70 lm/W system level efficacy. The COB LED produces high quality, 80+ CRI white light in the 2700K-4000K range color temperatures. For color sensitive applications, 90+ CRI light source is available to make rendered colors appear natural and realistic and reduce eyestrain for improved visual comfort. A multifaceted reflector with enhanced surface reflectance provides uniform target distributions in 15°, 24°, and 36° beam angle options. An anti-glare lens is intelligently designed to maximize optical extraction efficiency whilst minimizing overshadowing and eliminating visible hot spots from the LED.
The G10 LED bulb is engineered to exploit the full potential of the COB LED throughout its entire functional life. The bulb's housing is constructed from die cast aluminum and ignition resistant thermoplastic, which allows efficient heat dissipation and provides high corrosion resistance. High performance thermal interface material (TIM) and low thermal resistance PCB maximizes the heat flow from the LED chips to the heat sink. With a thermal path that provides high efficiency in thermal energy transfer, the LED junction temperature can be maintained to an optimal level.
The self-ballasted spotlight bulb is operated by a constant current driver that runs off 100-240 VAC. The driver has an output current rating of 185mA and output voltage range of DC 22-28V. It provides tight output current regulation, allowing the COB LED to run to their optimum performance. The driver comes non-dimmable standard. Dimmable drivers are available upon request.
