Constructed of an extruded anodized aluminum housing, UV and impact resistant polycarbonate lens, this product is engineered to last substantially longer than the rated 30,000+ hours. The aluminum housing provides high rigidity that protects the tube from bending. Thermal energy generated at the LED junctions is dissipated through the LED strip and aluminum housing to the ambient environment. Adequate heat sinking provided by the aluminum housing ensures that the operating temperatures of the LEDs (T-junction) is kept within functional and absolute maximum limits so as to maintain performance of the phosphors for consistent light quality and long lumen maintenance. The frosted PC lens with a beam angle of 120° provides high light transmittance and creates a uniform diffusion of light that eliminates uncomfortable hot spots from pinpoint LED light sources.
Available in 600mm (2ft), 900mm (3ft), 1200mm (4ft), and 1500mm (5ft) lengths, the aluminum housed LED tubes operate in 9W, 10W, 12W, 18W, 20W and 24W over a universal input range - AC 85-265 VAC or AC 120-277 VAC. These tubes incorporate Honglitronic 2835 SMD LEDs in a density ranging from 48 LEDs to 144 LEDs per strip to deliver a wide range of light output that replaces 18W to 58W fluorescent tubes. These LEDs are powered by a constant current driver IC that delivers a well regulated current with a high power factor (PF > 0.9) and low total harmonic distortion (THD) over wide variations in line voltage. High quality LEDs, excellent thermal management, and high efficiency load regulation combine to ensure the consistency in light output and color quality throughout the tube's operational life.
