The T8 LED battens from New Lights (XGY) integrate T8 LED tubes with directly mountable aluminum housings, allowing them to be used as their own fixtures for various commercial, retail, industrial and residential applications such as offices, parking garages, supermarkets, industrial assembly facilities, hospitals, and schools. These linear lights that come in the simplest form of a light fixture are designed to provide a cost effective solution that addresses the market's need for performance, efficiency, and value, all with uncompromised quality. The XGY T8 LED batten comes in a durable aluminum construction that provides mechanical stability and thermal management for the linear lighting system. The extruded aluminum housing offers high rigidity against possible bends and twists. It provides adequate heat sinking to effectively draw heat away from the LED junctions and thus reduces heat flux concentration that may cause performance degradation over time. A polycarbonate optical diffuser is assembled to the aluminum housing and creates uniform light emission without pixilation or the multiple shadow effect in a beam angle of 120°. The impact resistant, UV stabilized PC diffuser also provides robust protection for the LED strip and driving circuitry housed within the LED tube. These LED battens can be installed with end-to-end or daisy chain connection, or used as stand-alone fixtures.
Available in 300mm (1ft), 600mm (2ft), 900mm (3ft), 1200mm (4ft), and 1500mm (5ft) lengths, the XGY T8 LED batten offers a choice of lumen packages from 600 lm to 3120 lm. These tubes incorporate Honglitronic 2835 SMD LEDs to deliver high flux density with exceptional reliability and excellent lumen maintenance. With a total system efficacy of up to 120 lm/W, XGY T8 LED battens offer tremendous energy savings in comparison to linear fluorescent fixtures as well as reduced maintenance costs ensuring that these products provide excellent return on investment. The LED batten includes an IC driven constant current driver that provides excellent load regulation with high power efficiency maintained across a universal 85-265 VAC input range.
