The YD-DGC-60 LED pixel module delivers high efficacy and high flux density from a uniform source that consists of 12 SMD5050 RGB LEDs. The 8-bit LED channels has a color depth of 256, which enables the tricolor LED module to produce a total of 16,777,216 possible colors. A control IC is incorporated in the package and makes the LED module independently addressable, opening up infinite lighting possibilities that were previously impossible with standard RGB LEDs. The individually controllable pixels offer a sophisticated scalable solution to media façade lighting and architectural accentuating in large-scale pixel-mapping applications. With RDM or direct Ethernet communication, the intelligent light sources can be configured and programmed by a DMX system, making it perfect for delivering vivid accent, text, graphics, video replay and complex lighting scenarios.
The YD-DGC-60 LED pixel comes in a durable module that is hermetically sealed for all weather applications. Utilizing secondary packaging that is unique to the industry, these LED modules feature the highest level of water resistance. The one-piece molded PVC housing offers complete waterproofing protection that is not achievable with silicone-sealed systems. Secondary packaging is designed to provide hermetic encapsulation of all components contained within the LED module, which include SMD LEDs, control IC and the PCB. This level of protection addresses the concerns associated with sealant-based waterproofing technology. As excessive exposure to heat, UV, stress, and water immersion will cause the sealant to deteriorate and destroy the product's watertight integrity.
With secondary packaging that creates sealant-free encapsulation of all LED components, YD-DGC-60 LED pixel modules are characterized with great moisture resistance, thermal stability, vibration and shock resistance, tear resistance, and flexural strength. These modules are CLTC (China National Lighting Fitting Quality Supervision Testing Centre) tested to operate at a water depth of 20 meters. UV stabilized housing can survive up to 10 years of outdoor weathering. The flame retardant plastic has a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 28% which contributes its self-extinguishing performance. PVC encapsulation provides high levels of stress relief to sensitive control circuitry.
These intelligent dots come with a compact, flexible form factor that accommodates two- and three-dimensional configurations, which enabling installations in an extensive array of projects. In addition to direct surface mount with screws or adhesive tapes, these modules can be easily deployed in grids or long runs using daisy chain or track systems.
