The RGBW LED module offers high quality intelligent color and white light from the same node by incorporating three RGB LEDs and three white LEDs. The ability to display 8 bits per channel allows a full spectrum of saturated color to be produced from the tricolor LEDs. When mixed with RGB colors, the white LEDs allow for more saturated colors and vibrant pastels that the tricolor LEDs couldn't create on their own. In addition to the millions of saturated colors achievable through color blending of three primary colors (RGB), the addition of a dedicated white chip in each module provides more even illumination of all colors across the spectrum as well as the ability to mix your preferred shades of high intensity white light.
The module also includes a WS2812 IC that transform each LED module into an individually addressable LED node. The programmable control IC allows for the highest level of lighting sophistication. Colors, effects, and scenes as well as speed and length of color transitions can be programmed using an internal real-time clock. The controller IC has a built-in data signal reshaping circuit that help to maintain data integrity. By incorporating a number of individually controllable full-color LED nodes, an extremely scalable LED mesh system will transform every architectural surface into a digital media facade for displaying multimedia content. Through computer-controlled display programming via DMX512 and digital DVI protocols, the LED mesh system can be used to deliver text, graphics, and video content for advertising, corporate or city information, artistic displays or even live TV broadcasts in installations of any size and complexity!

Leveraging Yongdian patented secondary packaging technology, the IP68 rated LED module features industry-best waterproof capability that makes the LED module operable in a water depth of 20m! Made of UV-stabilized and corrosion-resistant polymer-based materials, the hermetically sealed encapsulation protects the LEDs and control IC against extreme temperatures, UV degradation, vibrations and mechanical damage. The PVC housing is flame retardant with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 28% and exhibits excellent self-extinguishing performance with a V-0 flammability rating.
