With a tough, completely sealed plastic housing, the YD-DGC-30 LED modules are engineered for all weather applications. Yongdian uses its patented secondary packaging technology to encapsulate all components, which including the SMD LEDs and control/driver circuitry, into a durable package. The primary packaging of LED chips is designed to provide mechanical, electrical, thermal, and optical supports to LED chips as well as protect LED chips from being effected by the external environment. Module-level encapsulation achieved through secondary packaging eliminates the concerns associated with using sealants of which the chemistry tends to be unstable in extreme temperature conditions or under long-term exposure to moisture, ultraviolet light and atmospheric pollutants.
In an industry where maximum durability is required and watertight integrity plays a critical role, Yongdian raises the bar to a new level. While sealing of the module housing with the silicone-based material system is still the mainstream waterproof solution in the industry, YD-DGC-30's closed module system with a one-piece molded housing offers incomparable advantages. The LED modules are fully submersible in water to a depth of 20 meters. Made of UV-stabilized and corrosion-resistant polymer-based materials, the module housing can survive up to 10 years of weathering and has excellent resistance to corrosion. The PVC encased LED module is protected from vibrations and mechanical damage. The product is flame retardant with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 28% and exhibits excellent self-extinguishing performance with a V-0 flammability rating.
The ø20mm LED pixel modules use high quality Epistar or Cree RGB LEDs to deliver a lifetime of optimal performance. With 8-bit PWM control of each color, the tricolor LED module can mix up to 16.7 million colors. Integration with WS2811, WS2812, TM1804, UCS1903, P9813, or WS2801 control ICs allow these pixels to be individually controlled for installations ranging from simple applications with a small number of modules to complex systems with tens of thousands of LED nodes. DMX- and Ethernet-based control solutions are used to distribute intelligence via programmable circuits embedded in the modules and enable complex architectural and entertainment lighting systems to create highly customizable, vibrant light shows.
The compact, transparent LED modules are designed for seamless integration with the surroundings, delivering brilliant illumination during nighttime while keeping the visual integrity of a building facade or graphic in daytime. These modules snap easily into accessory tracks, mesh systems or aluminum plates for incredibly fast and accurate job site installation.
