YD LED pixel modules have been meticulously designed and engineered to withstand the harshest weather conditions and environments. Its proprietary, patented secondary packaging technology takes product durability to a whole new level that's tough for its competitors to beat. In contrast to other manufacturers' products that use silicone potting for IP68 level ingress protection, Yongdian upgrades this waterproofing process with a fundamental packaging philosophy. Just like the way an LED package provides the chips with protection from environmental contaminants, YD secondary packaging technology creates a fully integrated housing that provides module-level protection for all the components packaged inside the assembly, including LEDs and control/driver circuitry.
Secondary packaging overcomes the pitfalls of using sealant to protect system components. Even with the most advanced formulations that possess excellent bond strength and maximum adhesion, the sealant chemistry may deteriorate and the sealant is prone to hardening, cracking, crumbling, drying and becoming brittle when exposed in environmental extremes for a prolonged period of time. Module-level protection achieved through secondary packaging offers a lifetime of durability. The one-piece, sealant-free PVC housing offers uniform protection against extreme temperatures, water penetration, vibrations and mechanical damage. YD LED pixel modules are CLTC (China National Lighting Fitting Quality Supervision Testing Centre) tested to operate under water depth of 20 meters. The UV stabilized housing can survive up to 10 years of weathering. The plastic housing has a high flame retardant capacity with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 28% and exhibits excellent self-extinguishing performance with a V-0 flammability rating.
The ø20mm LED pixels are available in single color (white, red, green, blue) and RGB versions. The individually addressable RGB modules incorporate WS2811, WS2812, TM1804, UCS1903, P9813, or WS2801 control ICs for dynamic integration of power, communication, and control. These full-color LED nodes support both standalone and online modes, and can be easily integrated into to DMX systems, allowing designers and architects to create highly customizable, vibrant lighting environments.
The low profile, transparent LED modules are designed for seamless integration with the surroundings. These modules snap easily into accessory tracks, mesh systems or aluminum plates for incredibly fast and accurate job site installation.
