SUR-5050NFRGB60B LED neon flex lights from Surmountor Lighting are developed to duplicate the effects of neon lighting while delivering design freedom that was never possible with traditional neon glass tubes. In addition its seamless illumination and visual intensity comparable to glass neon, the flexible LED neon light offers superior resistance to impact and vibration. The excellent bending stability of LED neon lights allows lighting designers to create an endless array of profiles, contours, and patterns with extremely long runs. Factory molded connectors, end caps, clip fixings or aluminum extrusions can satisfy any installation requirements for both interior and exterior applications.
The LED neon rope light uses SMD5050 tri-chip RGB diodes that integrate red, green and blue dies into a compact package which is capable of producing 16.7 million colors, controllable through the DMX protocol. The independent color mixing ability of RGB LEDs offers unparalleled design flexibility that the traditional neon lights couldn't create on their own. Surmountor RGB LED neon flex lights provide a fantastic choice for color changing applications, as well as static color illumination for architectural, accent, perimeter, border, signage applications. A spectrum of vibrant linear color changing effects can be created from a single line of LED neon rope, including fluid color transitions, single-color or multicolor chases, and gradual fades, etc.
With 60 LEDs per meter on a flexible PCB which is sleeved by a frosted or milky silicone extrusion, SUR-5050NFRGB60B LED neon lights deliver continuous runs of smooth, hotspot-free illumination. Made of high ductility copper, the flexible printed circuit board can be bent to a small radius and conforms to virtually all straight, curved or irregular constructs. To ensure high solder joint stability, the product is manufactured to tight tolerances at every step of the SMT process from solder application and screen printing to reflow soldering. The robust solder joints establish a reliable electrical contact and thermal path from the die through the package encapsulant to the copper foils.
SUR-5050NFRGB60B carries an IP67 rating for complete protection against water and dust. A solid layer of silicone extrusion, weatherproof sealed bi-pin connectors and end caps offer watertight integrity throughout the product's rated life, making them ideal for outdoor architectural lighting, landscape decoration, advertising applications as well as use in wet locations such as kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms.
