The D70 LED puck light comes assembled with a detachable surface mount ring that makes installation simple and straightforward while completing the sleek, clean design that complements any decor. The surface mounted luminaire emanates a soft, diffused pool of light that provides great visibility for countertops, wardrobes, closets, pantries, storage shelves, and other under cabinet spaces. With just 12mm thickness and 70mm diameter, the puck light produces a luminous flux of 240 lumens and consumes as little as 2.7 watts, while offering maintenance free operation of over 50,000 hours that is much longer that its halogen and fluorescent equivalent.
Utilizing high quality LEDs that are optimized for excellent color rendering and chromaticity stability with respect to variations in operating temperature, the D70 is engineered to offer exceptional light quality to reduce eye strain and fatigue and provide a great degree of visual clarity to objects on display. The luminaire comes in a choice of three correlated color temperatures (CCTs) to meet specific design needs in residential, retail and commercial applications.
The versatile luminaire is designed for both individual installation and daisy-chain connection to provide uniform illumination. When used in conjunction with a splitter box, up to six lights can be operated on one LED driver. D70 LED puck lights are compatible with Surmountor Lighting's lines of touch dimmers or contactless proximity senor switches, which offers improved automation and convenience.
