The PS003 proximity switch is a wave-activated control module that integrates on/off switching, full range dimming and CCT tuning into one package. The feature-rich circuitry offers an advanced yet affordable solution that addresses the needs for high performance and multifunctional lighting control in slim, space-limited LED profiles. PS003 is the benchmark choice for cabinet lighting that is functional, decorative, and energy-efficient. The proximity sensors allow the unobtrusively installed linear LED fixtures to illuminate cabinet spaces, create static color accent and enhance retail displays. The circuitry provides proximity detection within a sensing range of 3-8cm and can operate either 72 watts at 12 VDC or 144 watts at 24 VDC. It detects and measures reflected infrared (IR) energy and generates an in interrupt when the value of a proximity conversion exceeds a set threshold. Lights are switched on/off with a wave of hand. A dimming operation will be activated when the hand stays in proximity to the light for over 3 seconds. Only the consecutive exceeded thresholds last for over 3 seconds will the action will be registered to trigger an interrupt.
