The LSS001 light sensor switch from Surmountor Lighting provides dusk-to-dawn control for linear LED light fixtures. The ambient sensing module with a small form factor offers a tailor-made solution to linear lighting applications such as but not limited to under cabinet, ceiling cove, toe kick, display shelf, showroom, kitchen and bar lighting. It provides automatic daylight harvesting by turning light on at dusk and off at dawn. A built-in photocell senses the natural light level and triggers an operation to switch on or off the light upon detecting the threshold light levels. LSS001 provides LUX adjustment and allows users to set the ambient-light thresholds in the 2 - 60 lux range. With a maximum 8 amp output, the light sensor can control up to 96 watts of 12 VDC lighting or 192 watts of 24 VDC lighting.
