The AURORA-L Series LED area luminaires from Arrlux offer exceptional vertical illuminance and uniformity in high lumen packages. Beyond significant energy savings over metal halide (MH) and high pressure sodium (HPS) area lighting systems, AURORA-L delivers superior performance and unbeatable value that makes itself the right choice for a multitude of open area, high mast and general site lighting applications, including parking lots, residential complexes, shopping malls, campuses, basketball courts, tennis courts, football fields, facade lighting, and car dealerships.
Featuring the widest light-generating surface in its class, AURORA-L LED area lights offer maximum illumination coverage that is ideally suited to large area lighting applications with low installation heights. Superior surface illuminance uniformity combined with high levels of vertical illuminance increases visual comfort within the wide field of view. The combination of a scalable modular design that delivers multiple lumen packages ranging from 62,000 lm to 125,000 lm with a selection of precision engineered Type II, Type III, Type IV, and Type V refractive lenses offers the design flexibility to strike an optimal balance between pole height, light uniformity, luminous intensity and Dark Sky compliance.
The housings of AURORA-L Series LED area luminaires are constructed of heavy-duty die cast aluminum and polyester TGIC powder-coated for excellent corrosion resistance, UV degradation and chemical chromatized protection. The LED modules and electrical chamber are IP67 rated per IEC 60529. The rugged construction meets ANSI C136.31-2001, 3G bridge and overpass vibration standards. The AURORA-L luminaires are mounted directly to 2.38" max. horizontal or vertical O.D. mast arms and tenons. Optional NEMA twist-lock receptacle integrates with third-party photocell and control modules. The 700 mA drivers are built with a high-power factor correction to maximize power utilization and incorporate lightning surge protection to withstand 20kV of transient line surge.
