The SHINE-E Series 110W, 160W LED canopy luminaires from Arrlux provide an excellent alternative to energy inefficient HID luminaires for lighting outdoor structures with canopies, such as gas stations, entry ways, truck stops, parking garages, and drive-thrus at banks, pharmacies and restaurants. SHINE-E delivers up to 20,280 lumens with a system level efficacy of 135 LPW which translates to substantial energy and maintenance cost savings over the luminaire’s long lifespan. A heavy duty die cast aluminum housing with optimized geometry features a high heat transfer coefficient to dissipate heat away from the LED modules. In contrast to other canopy luminaires which have a long thermal path from junction to ambient of the lighting assembly, the metal core circuit board of the light module is directly interfaced with the luminaire housing and transfers heat from the die through the package encapsulant to the ambient environment in the shortest time possible.
To enhance visual comfort and provide the highest level of optical control, highly reflective optics are utilized to maximize delivered lumens while eliminating disturbance of the vision as a result of glare and blinding. Available in multiple beam patterns that include Type II, Type III, Type IV, and Type V distributions, injection-molded PC lenses deliver superior uniformity and excellent illumination to the target area. The UV-resistant and shock-proof lenses are sealed to the MCPCB to resist water and dust penetration. An external LED driver with surge voltage, open/short circuit protections accepts 120V through 277V or 347V/480V, 50 Hz to 60 Hz (UNV) and operates with higher efficiency over a wide variation of temperature and electrical conditions. The low-profile luminaire is IP67 rated to provide consistent performance in wet locations. An ultra-weatherable TGIC based polyester powder coating protects the aluminum housing against corrosion and oxidation.
