The KUB8 LED luminaire is engineered for future-proof operation through a modular design that offers the versatility and maintenability required in large area lighting. The luminaire consists of four IP67 rated, self-contained LED modules. These light assemblies blend the perfect combination of high efficacy and low system cost by incorporating high performance components into thermally efficient, optically optimized system. The high power Citizen COB packages provide high luminance through precision engineered lenses which ensure tight beam control and outstanding optical efficiency. Each LED module includes a heat sink with a multitude of deep, vertical fins to spread heat over a large surface area. Excellent thermal engineering ensures the COB LED can be driven at high current density for high lumen output without compromising performance and reliability over its long operation life. The 600W KUB8 LED flood light delivers up to 69,000 lumens with a system efficacy of 115 lm/W and an L70 lifetime of 50,000 hours.
To mitigate the negative effects of thermal loads from the LEDs and ensure ease of maintenance, the waterproof driver compartment is thermally isolated from the LED modules. System reliability is maximized with the high reliability and efficiency Mean Well LED drivers. Energy efficiency is enhanced with optional central and standalone dimming protocols. Customizable operating settings through programmable drivers and lighting control systems deliver optimal lighting solutions tailored for each design.
