Precision designed polycarbonate lenses minimizes LED pixilation and provides uniform light distribution. The rugged housing with computer designed and optimized heat sink are made of high purity AL1070 aluminum through a multi-stage cold forging process. The outstanding thermal management ensures the high efficacy Nichia LEDs have a projected L70 LED lifetime of more than 100,000 hours in a wide operating temperature range (-30°C to +50°C). The IP65 rated ingress protection provides superior resistance to corrosion and weathering. The proprietary ePTFE breather effectively mitigates the negative impact due to temperature cycling that builds up internal pressures and vacuums while still maintaining the weather-tight protection. Optional integrated sensors for occupancy and dimming allow for fully adjustable, motion controlled lighting for additional energy savings.
