The rectangular luminaire is directed downward delivering a pleasant illumination over the designated area with no glare to pedestrians or approaching vehicles. Lumiway I features an LED lighting system with scalable architecture allows this fixture to effectively replace applications that formerly using HID & HPS fixtures up to 250W. The modular LED engines include arrays of Nichia high power LEDs interfacing the thermally conductive substrate of metal core circuit boards for efficient heat dissipation. Die-cast, low copper aluminum housing with integrated heat sink provide thermal transfer at board level. The impact-resistant, UV-stabilized PC lens is sealed to the LED boards to provide IP65 rated ingress protection for the LED modules while delivering crisp and even light distribution. State-of-the-art driver technology with a high-power factor correction provides unsurpassed system efficiency. The luminaire is supported by U-shape arms stretching from the round aluminum pole and secured by stainless steel fasteners.
