The SL 20.3 LED fixture is basically an aluminum profile and T5 LED tube assembly available in various lengths. The T5 LED tube is removably integrated with the aluminum profile which also incorporates power supplies and control gear to drive the LED tube and control its output. Typical T5 LED or fluorescent tubes have end caps for mechanical and electrical engagement with corresponding fixture connectors. Nevertheless this design creates socket shadows in a consistent continuous-row system. SL 20.3 T5 LED luminaires illuminate across the entire lengh of the tube. Its end cap assemblies are arranged on top of the tube and recess into the aluminum profile to provide invisible mechanical and electrical engagement. This innovative design not only ensures seamless illumination along the entire row length without any visual interruption, but also facilitates easier installation and maintenance when compared with other linear LED trunking systems. Such linear LED solutions typically use integrated LED modules and require professional support to replace the light source.
Luxsystem offers a complete range of modules and luminaires for creating intelligent linear lighting systems with tool-free electrical and mechanical connection. The SL 20.3 LED linear fixtures are offered in 600mm, 900mm, 1200mm and 1400mm nominal lengths with each consuming 12, 19, 23 and 29 watts. Engineered with a modular concept in mind, SL 20.3 LED can adapts individually to complex lighting tasks while providing rapid connection and smooth aesthetic appeal. In addition to a continuous-interlocking design for seamless linear end-to-end connection, the linkable version comes with pre-assembled 5-pole L rail connectors to give more design possibilities when deciding on trunking configurations. The modular kits also include straight and 90° fixture connectors for mechanical coupling of the fixture modules. SL 20.3 LED supports daisy chain connections with optional cable connectors.
Linear lighting doesn't have to be in volumetric forms. The minimal lines of Luxsystem SL 20.3 LED deliver a substantial volume of lumens that is comparable to other bulky linear LED fixtures. The T5 LED tube has a high density LED strip which incorporates an array of high efficacy and high flux density LEDs. In conjunction with high efficiency power conversion provided by the built-in LED drives, Luxsystem SL 20.3 LED offers a high system efficacy between 140 lm/W and 150 lm/W. LEDs are available in 3000K or 4000K with a typical CRI greater than 80. A chromaticity variation within a single 3-step MacAdam ellipse centered in ANSI ensures an outstanding color consistency across the entire installation. These thermally efficient SMD LED packages are reflow soldered to a thick metallic PCB board with high reliability solder joints to withstand thermal cycling. With high capacity heat sinking provided by the metal core PCB, the high performance LEDs are rated to perform longer than 50,000 hours with no more than 10% of the LEDs failing to achieve less than 80% of their original luminous flux.
The SL 20.3 T5 tubes are made of glass which features excellent transparency and provides exceptional thermal conduction. The glass construction, rather than polycarbonate or acrylic, also prevents any bending or warping as well as yellowing over its entire lifespan. A proprietary diffusion coating inside the glass tube eliminates visible LED hot spots that can detract from the visual appeal of a fixture. Full diffusion provides uniform light distribution across a 260° beam angle without sacrificing light transmission. Wide beam angle and diffused light output effectively replicate fluorescent lighting which is good for glare-free, omnidirectional illumination. Luxsystem SL 20.3 provides additional prismatic, clear or opal PC lenses which are designed to be snapped into the side grooves of the aluminum profile. These plastic lenses offer triple benefits -- providing impact protection for the glass tube, improving light distribution, and giving the light fixture a sleek look with a clean, square profile.
Luxsystem SL 20.3 LED systems are equipped with high performance Luxtronic LED drivers which are engineered to provide 100,000 hours of operation, exceeding even the lifetime of the LED arrays. The LED driver is built into the aluminum housing with minimal dimensions. The high ampacity drivers provide excellent load regulation that ensures extremely long run lengths with only one electrical feed-in. Luxsystem SL 20.3 fixtures are available as ON/OFF 5-pole or DALI 5-pole systems. The driver with DALI interface provides precise tuning of drive currents and flicker-free dimming in both stand-alone systems and larger installations. The intelligent driver also supports 2700K-5000K tunable white and RGBW lighting. HADLER's unique socket not only allows for quick and easy assembly but also enables the transmission of specific data like color coordinates and brightness to the integral Luxtronic LED driver.
